LEAD WITH TRUTH!

“When we LEAD with LOVE through RESPECT, we lead with TRUTH!”

TRUTH:

There are undeniable truths in this world! We don’t always fully understand them, but we can find evidence of them, and come closer to what is true. When we seek and use truths to guide our lives, we can be both transformed and transformational!

RESPECT:

Respect for self and others simply comes down to recognising that each individual is different. We all have our own wants and needs in life, and in order to be capable of serving anyone we must first know our own, and work hard to learn those of the people around us. Though respect is required to impact in a significant way, respect in and of itself is not enough to impact the lives of the people around us. Respect without love is meaningless.

LOVE:

Only when we choose to act upon our recognition of the wants and needs of self and others are we truly demonstrating our respect and thus expressing our love. Love is action/behaviour (Gongwer, 2010).

LEAD: Leadership = Concentration:

If we really think about what a leader does, it comes down to an individual’s ability to do the RIGHT THING, at the RIGHT TIME, in the RIGHT WAY! Sports Psychologist Jean Williams, (2015) uses this same description as her psychological definition for concentration.
