“Keep OUR GOALS in mind!”

GOALS:

Izzo (2007) argues that in order for anyone to truly buy in they need to first feel that their individual needs will be met. The trick is aligning personal goals in a way that supports the team. In supporting the establishment of both team and personal goals that are not in conflict we establish a contract that allows us all to hold others accountable. As all goals are made known to the group, all are able to recognise when focus on their achievement is lacking, and we are able to hold self and others accountable to themselves.

FAITH:

The belief and understanding that there is truth in our purpose, even though we may not yet fully understand it. In seeking this truth, there will be challenges, but our faith in our mission tells us that the return will be greater than the sacrifice.

DISCIPLINE:

There are two ways to define “DISCIPLINE”. If you have it, you are intrinsically motivated to do the right thing, at the right time, and in the right way. If you don’t have discipline, life (or the people around you) will discipline you through consequence.
